Creating field names in table without typing
When creating a new table, I already have the field names typed out in an Excel file. When attempting to cut and paste into the table design view, I can only do one at a time. Is there a way to import field names en masse?
Thanks

You could import the SS as a Table.

Search Import

RE: Creating field names in table without typing
yes certainly as far as i understand you have your data typed out in an excel sheet with the top row as the field name try this out.

click on File in Menu bar
then click on import data
then in the bottom select the file time you want to import as .xls(by default it is mdb)
then browse and open the file
follow on screen instruction
you will be given an option to assign the first row as the field name.
